Lately, I’ve started working out with a partner, my good friend John Brown. We meet Grant Hill a couple of times a week and he runs us through our paces.

Not only has it been a lot of fun, but I’ve gotten some great benefits that I did not exactly expect.
Having someone else in the workout with you gives you someone to commiserate with, for sure. But, more important, it puts me on my best behavior. As we go through our circuits, I don’t want to let my partner down. I see him persevering, and I push myself that much harder.
At the end of the session, I’ve worked harder and with a better attitude.
If you can find someone to work out with, I strongly recommend it!
